We are in the Torre Pedrera area of Rimini, directly on the beach.
The village takes its name from the old tower built in 1673 at the behest of the Papal State: the tower, thanks to its strategic geographical position, had a certain importance for the control of maritime activities. “La Pedrera” derives from the ancient custom of the inhabitants take the stones necessary for the construction of their dwellings, from the bed of the river Pedreira. From here the name of the Tower of Pedreira, which has now become Torre Pedrera.
